BioTimeClock runs on a simple, inexpensive Windows2000 or XP system and handles hundreds of users. Each user (an employee in most cases) clocks in and out by entering a password code and then pressing their finger (any registered finger) against the fingerprint reader. The reader works with fairly dirty fingers and is suitable for manufacturing. Since the employee must be present to make the entry, other people can not make the entry as a favor.

The system installs easily. The reader works from a regular PC USB port. Only the reader, keyboard and monitor need to be exposed. We have heavy duty factory grade computers, monitors and keyboards available for different requirements.

The software program is very comprehensive. You can schedule employees on multiple shifts for multiple job classifications. Many people will buy the program to obtain the functionality of the software alone! Please download the User Manual for full details.

NOTE: The fingerprint information collected is NOT comparable to an ink-pad impression and we do not store the image. When a finger is registered, the software matches key points, records the point information and discards the image.

Networking: Up to 4 other computers on the local area network may share data with the main system to view information and run reports or support additional readers.

NETWORKABLE??? "YES" - If your workstations are connected together by a LAN, it's as easy as creating a network shared folder on one machine or a server. Install the entire package in the network share and map everyone's computer to the share. Install the reader drivers on each remote station. Create a shortcut to the shared folder. Now you can have up to 5 nodes with readers for check-in and any node can be switched to admin function for reports. Or have 3 or 4 readers and 1or 2 admin stations in different departments.
