Here is a wonderful basting sauce for that Thanksgiving Turkey. It yields an incredibly moist and flavorful bird as well as a great base for delicious gravy. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at RING!!
1.5 Cups of Dry Red Wine such as St. Julian's Michigan Village Red
1/2 Cups of Melted Butter
1 Tablespoon of Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon of Chives, dried
1 Tablespoon of Parsley, dried
1/4 Teaspoon of Marjoram, dried
1/4 Teaspoon of Thyme, dried
Bring to a gentle boil. Let simmre for 10-15 minutes. After turkey has been in over about 1/2 hour, start basting every 15-20 minutes.
