This delicious appetizer/party recipe is a favorite of Susan's in Royal Oak. I tried it for our SuperBowl party last week and it was a real winner! Unlike the Pittsburgh Steelers football team, it didn't even make it until half-time!
12 oz. Creamed Cheese
1/4 teaspoon Dill
7-3/4oz. Red Salmon
1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke
2 teaspoon Lemon Juice
8 drops Tabasco Sauce
Insert a metal blade in food processor. Cut cream cheese into 1" pieces. Process cheese with dill, red salmon (drained), liguid smoke, lemon juice, and Tabasco sauce until smooth, about 60 seconds. Scrape down as necessary. Store well covered in refrigerator for an hour or more before serving. Serve with melba toast or crisp crackers. Keeps up to 1 week. Yield 2 cups.
