Open summers daily from noon unti 4pm, this century old restored railway passenger depot features exhibits on the local mining and railway history. Special events are often held here.
Located 5 miles North of Big Powderhorn Mountain Ski Resort on Black River Road, Copper Peak is the one of only 6 ski flying facilitys in the world, and the only one located in the western hemisphere. Copper Peak is a growing Nordic sports center that also includes new cross-country skiing trails which are some of the most challenging in the UP. Open daily year round, weather permitting, with a chair lift ride to the top of the hill and an elevator ride to the top of the the world's largest (40 stories tall!) man-made ski flying scaffolding.
