This museum features a collection of Civil War, World War I and II weapons and memorabilia as well as a range of pioneer through Victorian everyday artifacts. A National Register of Historic Places treasure, the museum is housed in a Romanesque building and details the Lenawee County settlement and development. Tours are offered and the reference library includes business, education, government and genealogical information as well as personal letters, maps and photos.
Formerly a stagecoach stop along the Detroit-Chicago Road, this 1840s Federal-style house with its period furniture and re-constructed barn, now offers tours, and special programs to display Michigan's stagecoach era history.
