Why a T1 instead of DSL?

T1 service has been the preferred industry standard for broadband connectivity for over three decades. Utilizing both four(4) wire copper lines and more advanced fiber-optics, a T1 can reliably provide 1.5Mbps at far greater distances than DSL.

T1 service offers businesses a more reliable point-to-point service option. Installation of T1 lines has been practiced for far longer than DSL, meaning all parties involved are more familiar and therefore more skilled in provisioning and delivering the service to you. Since T1 services are not distance limited, you can order high-speed Internet access where distance limitations, phone line degradation, and electronic interference prohibit the use of DSL. T1 service is fully symmetrical with upload and download speeds of 1.5 Mbps. For customers who need the reliability that a T1 offers, but don't need the full speed, we offer fractional 384Kbps, 512Kbps and 768Kbps T1 service packages. T! circuits may be bonded (T1x2, T1x3, etc.) to provide higher bandwidths. All T1 services carry SLAs (service level agreements) that guarantee that what you buy is what gets delivered!
