What are the requirements for running RING!EasyMembership ?

RING!EasyMembership requires:
  • An Internet account with any ISP
  • Experience with your membership database, if you have one
  • A web site to link to
  • A 3.0+ version browser (Netscape 3+, IE 3+, AOL 4)
  • A valid credit card for us to bill automatically for monthly usage

  • Frequently asked questions.
How fancy can my opening screen be?

    • The system uses templates that you fill in from data entry screens
    • There is no html to write and no programming to do
    • Uniform templates make it faster and easier for members to find things
    • The menu designs are fixed, but can include your choice of color and your logo
    • All menus link back to your main web site if you have one
Can the membership database be accessed by multiple web hosts?

    • Yes. The link from each page will tell the web browser where to find your member database and fields appended to the URL in the link tag will identify your account
    How am I billed?

    • The system bills based on the number of records in the database each month, plus your based monthly lease fee
How does the auto-reply to new applicants work?

    • If you want a message sent to the user when a new application is submitted, set the REPLY option ON in setup
    • Fill out the TOPIC and MESSAGE BODY and that's it
    • When someone fills out a form, the data will be stored in the database and your message will go automatically. If no email address is present or it is not in the format name@isp.com, no message will be sent
    How secure is my data?

    • No other merchants, organizations or users have access to your information
    Is my data backed up?

    • We backup everything on our servers daily
Can I add data from a external data file?

    • Yes. You can also add records manually
Can I e-mail all the sign-ups in the last week?

    • You can EMail all the records within a date range. For example, all records that were entered after June 1, 1999 but before June 30, 1999, etc.
    • EDITED records are updated and acquire the edit date as their registration date so that if you fix a bad email address, that record will be treated as new
How do I get my database tables downloaded?

    • The next release of RING!EasyMembership will support table downloads in text files
    Who owns the data?

    • You ... if it IS yours of course.
