I have really horrid toes which are all bent and cross over one another. Whenever I go on the beach or to the pool, I can see people staring at my toes. Now I have a new boyfriend and I know the time will come when I have to let him see my toes, I just don't know what he's going to think. Should I warn him about my toes before he sees them or should I just take off my shoes and pretend there's nothing wrong? Angie.

Unless you have physical pain and/or trouble walking, there IS nothing wrong with your toes! They may not be Dr. Scholl's advertising material, but they work and they are yours.
As long as you aren't in any physical discomfort, you shouldn't have to
worry about anyone's reaction to your unique toes. Unfortunately, that's
not so easy. I suppose how you handle the situation depends on your
personality. For example, you might be able to build up the big moment as
a joke or you might prefer to choose a more sensitive route, explaining
that this really embarrasses you. However you present yourself, if he
really likes you, there won't be a problem. If he turns out to be
shallow, you don't want him anyway.
