My ex wife and I split up and divorced because of her relationship with her first cousin, the son of her mothers brother , I consider this to be incest, she said that it is`nt. I live in the U.K. could you tell me what the legal position is in this country,to this relationship, I personally find it hard to except that it is`nt incest,
My advice would be to visit the local library, if not to visit various legal sites on the internet. You'd probably find some more concrete answers there.
Personally, I find such a relationship unacceptable.

You need to check with legal experts in the UK. In the United State, technically speaking, the relationship that you described is not, in fact, an incestuous relationship which is defined as sexual relations between two persons related too closely to marry legally, for example: brother/sister, mother/son, father/daughter, grandparent/grandchild. Not cousins!
More to the point, if you are divorced, why are you still brooding over it! Get on with your life!

I'm certainly not qualified to give legal consult, but I understand how you may be upset.
